The following are inspection reports done by the United States Department Of Agriculture's (USDA) Animal And Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS). Additionally, there is an inspection report from the Hawaiian Humane Society in response to an anonymous tip of animal cruelty. All documentation was obtained by our partners at Animal Rights Hawaii through use of the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA).
There are multiple years missing from this list. Although these reports are technically available to the public, obtaining them through FOIA can take a long time and can get expensive. Additionally, APHIS no longer has the amount of staff required to keep up with the current amount of dolphinariums in the USA, so inspections aren't conducted as frequently as they were in the past. You can read more about this on our Dolphin Captivity FAQ page.
